The ultimate at home facial guide

I am a big believer in taking time out of your day to look after your skin properly – I’m not talking about a 30 minute cleansing routine, just a good five minutes in the evening to care for your skin and allow yourself to unwind.

As a busy Mum, those precious five minutes to myself are a signal to switch off after a long day.

However, on those rare occasions you do find that you have some time to yourself, take the time to treat more than your skin – allow your mind to unwind and I promise you’ll see and feel a difference!

Follow my step-by-step guide to the ultimate at-home facial…

Step 1

You want to start by getting your skin super-clean (but never squeaky clean, read more about why that’s never a good idea here), so reach for our gentle but effective Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser, which removes makeup and daily dirt and grime without stripping the skin.

Step 2

Depending on how your skin feels, you can follow your cleansing with some gentle exfoliation, our Kukui & Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator is unlike traditional exfoliators as the perfectly spherical beads roll over the skin – rather than tearing or aggravating it, picking up dead skin cells and impurities as they go.

Step 3

This is where the serious relaxation kicks in! Our brand new Treatment Masks are perfect for creating that at-home facial feel. Created to revive and hydrate lacklustre or dry skin, and clear and brighten oily or blemish-prone skin, they deliver immediate results, minus the irritation often associated with such targeted treatments.

To celebrate the launch of Masks and to encourage you to take 10 minutes out for your skin and mind, we’ve teamed up with a-list yoga teacher Nadia Narain to record an exclusive 10 minute guided meditation, perfect for following whilst you use your Pai Mask.

So get comfy, plug in and unwind for 10 minutes to restore your mind and revive your skin.

Ten minutes later…

Step 3

Once your guided mediation has finished, remove your Mask using the organic Muslin Cloth warm water and gentle circular motions.

It’s now time to lock in all of this skin goodness – spritz your skin with our BioAffinity Tonics, whichever is more suitable for your skin.

Then follow with 2-3 drops of our Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil, gently massaged and patted into the skin. You can even incorporate some of these simple facial massage movements.

Step 4

End your at home facial by applying one pump of our Echium & Argan Gentle Eye Cream, patted along the lower orbital bone.

Be sure not to apply your Eye Cream to the soft under eye area as this can lead to puffiness or even milia.

I know what I’ll be making time to do this Easter weekend! Will you be giving my at-home facial guide a go? Let me know how you get on.
