October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, an annual focus on the most common form of cancer amongst women.
Rather than launch a ‘pink’ Pai product of our own, this year I wanted to do something different – that makes a practical difference to women going through the long and tough process of treatment at the moment.
So, on 15th October, 5 – 6.30pm, Pai is hosting a free to attend Breast Cancer & Beauty event in association with The Haven – the leading free support centre for breast cancer patients in London.
Joined by Jessica Jones, author of the acclaimed ‘Chemo Chic’ blog, we’ll be talking through the side effects of treatments on the skin, and the best ways to adapt your beauty regime to help manage them safely.
Like many women, the Pai team have been touched quite closely by breast cancer this year, so we understand how tricky the wealth of information out there can be to navigate.
My aim is to break down in simple terms what skin side effects to expect, what to avoid, and what to embrace to keep your skin at its healthiest throughout and beyond cancer treatment.
There’ll also be an opportunity for one-to-one advice and to take away a goody bag of products.
