What does your job involve?
I find new ingredients and trial different combinations until we end up with a product that’s effective and feels beautiful on the skin. I also make sure that our ingredients meet our certification requirements.
How did you get into your job?
I’ve been at Pai since the very early days! I trained as a Cosmetic Chemist and then did an internship in organic formulation. I knew it was something I wanted to pursue; creating products with natural ingredients is challenging but the end result is so rewarding.
What’s your favourite Pai product?
The Kukui & Jojoba Skin Brightening Exfoliator.
It took a long time to get the formulation perfect but I’m so proud of the finished product. It’s incredibly gentle but leaves my skin feeling soft and radiant.
