How to get rid of Hangnails

A hangnail is the colloquial name for those pesky and painful strips of hard skin that appear along the sides of your fingernail and skin.

I know this because I currently have one!

They’ve afflicted me for as long as I can remember so how I’ve got to my ripe old age without knowing anything about them is a mystery.

After some experimental treatments, here are my top tips for ridding the little blighters.

  1. While it is tempting to rip them out with the nearest tweezers or teeth (!), this can cause infection at the base. Instead, trim them as close to the nail as possible.
  2. Dry skin is the most common cause of hangnails, so massaging Cream into the nails and cuticles will speed the recovery process.
  3. Our Fragonia & Sea Buckthorn Instant Hand Therapy Cream is the perfect remedy. Full of skin conditioning and regenerative ingredients it will get your hands back in tip-top condition in no time.

After all your Christmas generosity why not treat yourself to some early New Year pampering!
