This week is Global Entrepreneurship Week and it has already been a busy one for us.
I attended an event on Monday where Gordon Brown and Peter Mandelson spoke of the importance of British enterprises to help weather us through the recession. No pressure…
Peter Jones and James Caan, of Dragon’s Den fame, were also present though unfortunately I didn’t get to speak to them or twist their arms into investing in Pai!
I was also lucky enough to spend last night in the British Library, as a guest at a new business awards scheme.
The Awards were set-up to recognise young (or young-ish, in my case!) entrepreneurs running socially responsible and ethical businesses.
Rather surprisingly, I was named one of the Future 100 Entrepreneurs of the Year!
I’m absolutely thrilled to have been included and it’s nice when all the hard work pays off, so thanks to everyone who was involved in the decision-making process.
