Model skincare secrets for London Fashion Week

Sarah Brown is the founder of Pai Skincare. Entrepreneur, mum and sensitive-skinned soul – trying to find time to practice more of what she preaches…

London Fashion Week is in full swing, and as well as clothing there’s some pretty amazing skin on display too!

To find out how top models keep their skin in shape, I caught up with Storm model and Pai devotee, Fran Phillips to find out her top natural beauty tips…

As a model, it can be exciting to see yourself transformed by make-up.

However, when I’m not working, you’ll more than likely find I’m pretty low key (bar a little concealer and eyebrow gel).

I try to live as organically as possible in regards to the food I eat and products I use.

As a certified health coach, it’s important to practice what I preach.

I’ve also, like most women, had my fair share of skin woes.

Pretty severe eczema stopped me working for a year!

That’s why I’m especially selective with the products I use – no artificial fragrances, parabens or SLS!

Travelling, changes in climate and water all wreak havoc and, of course, there is limited control over what gets applied when you’re working.

I find Pai’s products great for calming my skin.

The Camellia & Rose Cleanser is my go-to for removing a full face of make-up without scrubbing.

I’m also a fan of occasionally using cold pressed coconut oil as a moisturiser (and even make-up remover if I’ve run out of everything else).

Another thing I love to do is add Pai’s Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil to my moisturiser twice a week.

I also add it to my body moisturiser or bath sometimes too.

One of my favourite make-up artists, Rose-Marie Swift (her RMS products are desert island must haves), once said to me that you shouldn’t put anything on your skin that you wouldn’t eat.

And if you think about it, it’s true…after all, where does all that stuff end up that sinks into your skin?
