Start your day off right with a home-made smoothie, and pre-prepare your ingredients the night before to save time in the morning.
I caught up with nutritionist Madeleine Shaw to find out her favourite smoothie recipe for glowing skin:
“It may seem odd having an avocado in a smoothie – but trust me it’s great. It adds a wonderful creaminess and also makes it a very filling breakfast.
Antioxidant-rich frozen berries are an absolute staple in my freezer; they’re a fraction of the price of fresh berries and just as good!”
- 200 ml of coconut water
- 1/2 an avocado
- 100 g of frozen mixed berries
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 tsp if grated ginger
Directions: Pop in all in a mixer and blend!
